Políticas de Currículo para o Ensino Médio no Rio de Janeiro: o Caso da Disciplina Química

Este artigo apresenta a análise, com foco na disciplina Química e na área de Ciências, da proposta curricular para o Ensino Médio no Rio de Janeiro, elaborada pela Secretaria de Educação do Estado e pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Com base em ensinamentos de Ball, defendemos que a proposta, apesar deestar sintonizada com os discursos mais atuais das áreas de pesquisa em ensino de Química, reforçando um caráter mais crítico, promove um discurso prescritivo sobre as escolas.
