Abstract

O presente artigo tem como objetivo abordar as fotografias e os desenhos criados pelas crianças, em destaque aquelas pertencentes à chamada primeira infância, afirmando que os mesmos podem ser compreendidos como fontes documentais e
históricas, indícios que ao serem analisados permitem a compreensão sobre a infância e suas diferentes relações, ressaltando as de gênero, étnicas e de classe social.

Graduação em Ciências Sociais (Bacharelado e Licenciatura) pela USP. Mestre em Educação pela Unicamp – Ciências Sociais Aplicadas à Educação. Doutora em Educação – Educação e Cultura – Unicamp. Professora da Faculdade de Educação da Universidade de São Paulo. Professora de curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Bandeirante de São Paulo.
