A Formação de Educadores na Perspectiva da Educação do Campo: reflexões sobre o Iº Curso de Pedagogia da Terra da Via Campesina

Este artigo analisa o Curso de Pedagogia da Terra, a partir da proposta teórico-metodológica do “1º Curso de Pedagogia da Terra da Via Campesina”, realizado entre 2002 e 2005 no Rio Grande do Sul. Tem por objetivo compreender os avanços e limites da proposta, observando três dimensões da formação: o pedagogo do campo, o pedagogo em movimento e o pedagogo da escola. As análises apontam para a necessidade de se produzir teoricamente uma nova Pedagogia, partindo das pequenas experiências realizadas nos assentamentos, acampamentos e outros espaços organizados, mas indo além delas, confrontando-as com as contribuições das diversas ciências da educação, especialmente as que trilham caminhos mais progressistas.
