Revivir el pasado de la ciudad de Mérida

La ciudad de Mérida (Badajoz) es un buen ejemplo para apreciar a través de los restos arqueológicos que se conservan cómo era el pasado y cómo éste ha llegado a nuestros días. La formación de la ciudad, sus calles, su trazado ha dejado huella en la ciudad actual. No sólo es importante la historia que desprende Mérida sino también la identidad de los emeritenses. En los últimos años se están llevando a cabo iniciativas para poner en valor y difundir Mérida. Es importante trabajar la relación pasado-presente de la ciudad, y por ello nos centraremos en las jornadas de Emerita Lúdica. Se reflexionará sobre la implicación de esta iniciativa con el pasado de la ciudad, sus conjuntos arqueológicos y cómo se puede dar vida a ese pasado provocando en los emeritenses un sentido de identidad que hasta hace poco no lo poseían.
