ENSINO DE GEOGRAFIA E PROJETO DE SOCIEDADE NO INÍCIO DO SÉCULO XX NO BRASIL: RECONSTRUINDO LEITURAS ACERCA DA RELAÇÃO ENTRE ENSINO E PESQUISA

Opresente artigo busca resgatar a contribuição de três autores (Aroldo deAzevedo, Delgado de Carvalho e Pierre Monbeig) fundamentais no processo deinstitucionalização da geografia no Brasil, buscando estabelecer a relaçãoexistente entre o projeto de geografia e o projeto de sociedade pensado pelosmesmos, bem como compreender a forma como os autores concebiam a relação entreensino e pesquisa na geografia na formação de professores e estudantes daeducação básica. Para isso, realizamos ampla pesquisa documental, levantando osprincipais textos dos autores acerca da temática, publicados em diferentes periódicosda época. Além disso, realizamos entrevistas com importantes pensadores dageografia com o intuito de compreender a visão dos mesmos acerca das disputasque marcaram esta relação entre ensino e pesquisa no momento deinstitucionalização da ciência geográfica no Brasil.Downloads
