Tributo a Mario Osorio Marques: à guisa de apresentação

Celebrar a memória de “pais fundadores” é uma tradição nas repúblicas modernas, tradição que achamos apropriada para reverenciar a memória de pessoas, homens e mulheres, que ousaram iniciar empreendimentos que impactam a vida de uma comunidade, seja no âmbito pessoal, seja nos aspectos profissionais que se desdobram em ações políticas capazes de reconfigurar contextos sociais.
Mario Osorio Marques foi certamente um desses casos que marcaram vidas, constituíram profissionais e alteraram o contexto no qual se inseriram. Por isso, nada mais justo do que reverenciar sua trajetória, revificando memórias comuns daqueles que com ele conviveram, destacando aspectos de sua profícua produção intelectual, evidenciando ainda, o quanto sua obra continua repercutindo e inspirando seus leitores a pensar acerca dos temas que o ocuparam, e, com esse gesto, cocriando novas perspectivas capazes de iluminar as ações humanas no contemporâneo.
