En general, toda referencia a la Investigación universitaria debiera significar las diferentes prácticas de investigación y también la formación a la investigación. Nos referimos al trabajo de los investigadores universitarios y a la formación de investigadores en y desde la universidad. Lamentablemente no es así. La tradición académica separa la Docencia de la Investigación, como si fueran dos esferas separadas entre ellas. Se mencionan como si fueran dos funciones o dos misiones diferentes. La Docencia debe ser investigativa, desde sus inicios. Los aprendientes deben encontrar desde el comienzo de su formación no solo a docentes que exponen bien sus materias sino la oportunidad de inmergirse en una cultura de la indagación. Incorporase a la ciudadanía de las preguntas.
