A CONSTRUÇÃO HISTÓRICA DO PARADIGMA DA QUALIDADE TOTAL NO CAMPO EMPRESARIAL E A SUA TRANSPLANTAÇÃO PARA O CAMPO EDUCACIONAL

Apresenta-se um breve histórico da construção da teoria daqualidade total. Discute-se a utilização ideológica dos pressupostos da qualidade total no campo educacional como estratégia de privatização da oferta dos serviços públicos. Conclui
que os pressupostos da qualidade total contidos no discurso empresarial é incompatível com os objetivos históricos, políticos,
sociais e teórico-metodológicos da escola e de um projeto
educativo comprometido com a construção da cidadania plena,
que viabiliza a substituição da qualidade total pela qualidade
social.
