Ser Criança e Ter Infância na Pastoral da Criança

Pesquisa desenvolvida no Bairro Parque dos Coqueiros, em Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, analisa a ação socioeducativa da Pastoral da Criança como pedagogia da sobrevivência nas populações pobres. Os familiares aprendem a lidar com a prevenção, o essencial, o alternativo e as probabilidades, na produção de táticas de escape, diante das condições de exclusão ou mesmo de extermínio social. Dessa maneira, a Pastoral da Criança recupera o sentimento de infância nos bolsões de pobreza, trabalhando para diminuir os índices de desnutrição e mortalidade materno-infantil. Essa pedagogia da sobrevivência firma-se no ensinar-aprender as artes de cuidar da criança pobre.Downloads
