Formação de profissionais para a Educação Infantil em nível superior: a experiência do curso de Pedagogia oferecido pela Universidade Estadual do Rio Grande do Sul em convênio com a prefeitura de Porto Alegre

Abstract

Este artigo analisa um programa de formação em curso de Pedagogia – Educação Infantil, desenvolvido em regime de colaboração entre o município de Porto Alegre e a Universidade Estadual do Rio Grande do Sul, de 2002 a 2007. O programa
contemplou 70 educadoras de creches conveniadas à prefeitura; o que justificou a criação de um currículo especial, com componentes curriculares que articularam teoria e prática. Como avaliação dessa experiência as educadoras destacaram o impacto que a realização do curso teve sobre suas vidas, abrangendo mudanças em âmbito pessoal e profissional.
