The right to non discrimination and its relations with the human dignity

The present research is developed through the deductive method, from bibliographic review and has as general objective to demonstrate the correlation between the right to non-discrimination and the principle of the dignity of the human person. The prohibition of discrimination is seen as the legal underpinning of the right to diversity, which functions as a mechanism for achieving material equality. In a plural and democratic society, it is essential to recognize the right of each person to be different in order to make it possible for each one to build their own identity. After analyzing the structuring values of the right to diversity, it is intended to demonstrate that the affirmation of a sustainable State requires recognition and guarantee of the peculiar characteristics to each person as a substrate for human dignity.
