PROGRAMA DE EDUCAÇÃO PELO TRABALHO NA SAÚDE MENTAL EM UM MUNICÍPIO NO SUL DO BRASIL

O presente estudo objetiva relatar a experiência do Programa de Educação pelo Trabalho (PET) Saúde Mental com ênfase em crack, álcool e outras drogas em um município do Sul do Brasil no ano de 2011. Esse Programa contou com a participação de acadêmicos de Graduação, preceptores do Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (Caps), tutor e professor colaborador, que tiveram o propósito de qualificar a atenção em saúde mental junto aos profissionais que atuam diretamente com pessoas que fazem uso de substâncias psicoativas. Foram evidenciados desafios e potencialidades durante o período de execução desse Programa, como falta de qualificação profissional no âmbito da dependência química, além de uma restrita rede de serviços. No que diz respeito às potencialidades, destacam-se projetos para ampliação da rede por meio de parcerias entre ensino e serviço. Enfatiza-se a importância desse Programa para o ensino, serviço, gestão e comunidade, tendo em vista a percepção global dos benefícios e resultados gerados no encontro de ações propositivas no território.
