OCTOGENÁRIOS E SUAS CARÊNCIAS: Estudo Bibliográfico

É evidente o aumento da expectativa de vida da população e conseqüentemente o aumento da população idosa num contexto mundial, Tendo em vista e objetivando aprofundar os estudos sobre os octogenários se fez a pesquisa,também para destacar os assuntos mais estudados principalmente nessa faixa etária, relacionando-os com o importante papel que pode ser desenvolvido pelo profissional enfermeiro no cuidado a essa população. Utilizou-se da base de dados scielo para a realização da pesquisa bibliográfica, em que foram encontrados 15 artigos, utilizando os termos“idoso de 80 anos ou mais”. Nos resultados encontraram artigos relacionados à qualidade de vida dos octogenários,aos idosos submetidos à cirurgia de revascularização miocárdica, à atividade física praticada por eles, as doenças oculares e saúde mental. Portanto observa-se o importante papel que o profissional enfermeiro pode exercer nocuidado a essa população, desde prestar assistência até melhorar a sua qualidade e longevidade de vida.Downloads
