Desenvolvimento a Partir da Perspectiva Territorial

As diferentes abordagens contemporâneas que tangenciam o enfoque do desenvolvimento a partir da perspectiva territorial podem ser classi icadas em duas grandes vertentes do chamado novo regionalismo: a vertente globalista e a vertente regionalista. Alguns autores têm preferido enfocar as abordagens regionalistas, de forma exageradamente otimista, merecendo serem analisadas criticamente. Apesar disto, é possível visualizar um cenário de respostas alentadoras aos desafios da territorialização do desenvolvimento, na medida em que mereçam um destaque as diferentes formas de organização socioterritorial, a inovação coletiva territorial, além da necessária reconsideração do papel do Estado. Assim, abre-se a possibilidade de que trajetórias progressivas de desenvolvimento territorial possam ser gestadas e geridas a partir da ação articulada de atores públicos e privados.
