Cidades Criativas e Vila Flores: convergências e semelhanças no modelo de gestão para a inovação social

O presente artigo tem o objetivo de analisar o modelo de gestão de uma associação cultural, iniciativa da entidade Vila Flores, responsável pela ocupação de área urbana do Bairro Floresta no município de Porto Alegre/RS, para mitigar diversos problemas sociais suscitados pela deterioração do cluster fabril local, em termos de oferta de emprego, geração de renda, desenvolvimento socioeconômico e cultural. Para tanto, a metodologia utilizada foi o estudo de caso, por meio de coleta de dados através de entrevista em profundidade, com a gestora cultural da associação, numa pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa. Entre os resultados foi possível observar que tanto o formato de organização do coletivo Vila Flores, assim como as ações desenvolvidas aproximam-se em parte dos indicadores de inovação social. Além disso, o coletivo possui um posicionamento social e cultural condizente com as reflexões teóricas acerca das cidades e territórios criativos.
