A Insuficiência Renal Crônica vem ganhando através dos anos uma importante dimensão, tornando-se um problema de saúde pública no Brasil e no mundo. Além de um tratamento onde os custos são consideravelmente altos, a Insuficiência Renal Crônica trás consigo uma gama de potenciais complicações para o paciente e o estado, pois associada a outras doenças torna-se umas das maiores causas de morte no país. Entra com importante papel no combate ao expressivo número de portadores dessa doença a atenção e prevenção dos doentes, principalmento no modelo primário de atenção à saúde, onde na maioria dos casos pode ser prevenida e evitada, causando nãosomente uma diminuição dos custos para o estado, mas uma melhor atenção por parte do sistema de saúde, seguidapor educação em saúde de melhor qualidade e resolutividade, evidenciado as comorbidades que às precedem.Downloads
