EDUCAÇÃO EM SAÚDE NO AMBIENTE UNIVERSITÁRIO: Uma Estratégia Para Diferentes Contigentes Populacionais

Abstract

Este Projeto de Extensão, vinculado à Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, Centro de Educação Superior Norte do RS (UFSM/CESNORS), tem como objetivo desmistificar o corpo humano e tornar esta área do conhecimento mais atraente. Utiliza-se os espaços físicos da Universidade para oferecer aos estudantes do Ensino Fundamental e Médio da região, assim como a grupos assistenciais da comunidade em geral, uma visão holística das estruturas corpóreas, sua relação com o meio e a promoção de aspectos físicos, sociais e psicológicos, entre outros, visando a saúde da população para uma melhor longevidade. A metodologia de trabalho centra-se no agendamento de visitas, as quais são organizadas por um grupo de acadêmicos dos cursos de Enfermagem e Nutrição. Nessas, os visitantes participam de atividades de ensino e promoção da saúde no laboratório de anatomia humana e em seguida conhecem todos os espaços físicos da Universidade.
