ATUAÇÃO DA EQUIPE DE SAÚDE COM GESTANTES SOROPOSITIVAS AO HIV: Desvelando o Papel da Enfermagem

Abstract

Este estudo tem como objetivo principal conhecer o trabalho da equipe de saúde do CTA no atendimento às gestantes HIV positivas. Após a aprovação do Comitê de Ética da Universidade Federal do Pampa sob número 005 2010, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa do tipo exploratória, por meio de entrevistas semi-estruturadas com doze profissionais de saúde do CTA em um município da região oeste do Rio Grande do Sul. A análise dos dados foi temática, por meio da qual alcançamos os resultados através da inserção de categorias e subcategorias durante o desenvolvimento do estudo. Encontramos dificuldades vivenciadas pelas gestantes na opinião dos profissionais, como a descoberta da sorologia durante o pré-natal, o autocuidado e estratégias para melhorar a adesão das gestantes ao tratamento com o importante papel do enfermeiro como articulador. Esperamos que este estudo contribua para o aperfeiçoamento do cuidado da equipe de saúde no atendimento às gestantes do CTA.
