Abstract

Este artigo analisa o processo de reorientação da formação profissional em saúde. Teve como objetivo analisar o impacto da participação em programas PET-Saúde na formação do fisioterapeuta, egressos de uma universidade pública. Utilizou metodologia qualitativa, sendo entrevistados 10 fisioterapeutas que haviam participado do programa. Os resultados demonstraram que os participantes vivenciaram plenamente a prática da atenção à saúde, proporcionando o desenvolvimento de uma visão crítica dos processos de trabalho. Por outro lado, foi constatado fragilidades no que se refere ao que é preconizado pelas Diretrizes Curriculares vigentes para o curso de fisioterapia, demonstrando a necessidade de se repensar o Projeto Político Pedagógico. A participação no programa PET-Saúde ocorreu como uma atividade complementar, não articulada a graduação.
