PACIENTES EM CONDIÇÕES CRÔNICAS DE SAÚDE: COTIDIANO DE CUIDADO DOMICILIAR

Objetivo: Descrever o cuidado domiciliar no cotidiano de pacientes que vivem em condições crônicas de saúde. Metodologia: Estudo com abordagem qualitativa, do tipo descritivo, exploratório e documental. A coleta de dados foi mediada pela entrevista semiestruturada, gravada em mídia digital, com 15 participantes. As enunciações foram analisadas a partir da categorização temática. Resultados: As mudanças no estilo de vida, hábitos alimentares, ingestão de medicações e o controle de glicemia e pressão arterial são enaltecidos no cotidiano de cuidado dos pacientes que vivem em condições crônicas. Conclusão: O cotidiano desses pacientes é permeado pela necessidade da mudança para a melhoria das condições de saúde. As dificuldades de adesão ao tratamento medicamentoso e a mudança de hábitos alimentares tem influência dos aspectos culturais e regionais. Recomenda-se ações de educação em saúde que possam incorporar o paciente e sua família, para que ocorra um comprometimento coletivo para a mudança de hábitos.
