PREVALÊNCIA DE INTERCORRÊNCIAS CLÍNICAS MATERNAS RELACIONADAS À PREMATURIDADE

Objetivo: Analisar os dados referentes às intercorrências clínicas maternas associadas ao nascimento de recémnascidos prematuros ocorridas no período de internação hospitalar na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal em umhospital de médio porte no interior do Rio grande do Sul. Métodos: Trata-se de uma pesquisa transversal, descritivae analítica. A amostra constitui-se de 20 mães de crianças prematuras. Os dados foram coletados nos prontuários dosneonatos, totalizando uma amostra de 54 pacientes, sendo também aplicado um questionário a 20 mães, a fim deinvestigar os fatores de risco.Os dados sobre intercorrências clínicas no período pós-natal foram coletados noprontuário dos neonatos em um hospital de médio porte no interior do Rio grande do Sul após aprovação do Comitê deética da UNIJUI (nº 181/2006). Resultados: Os principais fatores de riscos maternos foram a hipertensão arterial(60%) e a infecção urinária (25%). Verificou-se, estatisticamente, que houve uma relação forte e direta entre asvariáveis idade materna e idade gestacional ao serem correlacionadas com o peso ao nascer. Conclusão: Os avançosnos cuidados pré-natais precisam ser intensificados, especialmente em relação a prevenção de infecções e nocontrole da pressão arterial durante a gestação.Downloads
