O ENFERMEIRO NA ASSISTÊNCIA AO IDOSO PORTADOR DE ALZHEIMER: Relato de Experiência na Atenção Básica

Objetivos: o objetivo geral desse trabalho é descrever as atividades desenvolvidas no âmbito acadêmico, noAcompanhamento Terapêutico (AT) a um idoso portador de Alzheimer. Método: trata-se de um relato de experiência,construído a partir das vivências acadêmicas oportunizadas pela disciplina de Saúde Coletiva III, do Curso deEnfermagem da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Buscou-se uma adaptação ao contexto de vida do idoso com a elaboração de um Plano Terapêutico Singular, desenvolvido por meio de visitas domiciliares que perfizeram durante os meses de junho a julho de 2008. Resultados: a prática do AT, na Atenção Básica, demonstrou ser uma forma do enfermeiro atuar como um modelo e estímulo para o paciente e gerar oportunidades de promover a educação em saúde e incentivar o resgate da porção saudável e vital do sujeito. Considerações Finais: o enfermeiro deve incorporar práticas que aproximem e favoreçam a qualidade da relação entre profissional-paciente.Downloads
