EXPERIÊNCIAS ACADÊMICAS DO CURSO DE FISIOTERAPIA NOS CENTROS DE ATENÇÃO PSICOSSOCIAL (CAPS) DE IJUÍ/RS

Objetivo: Descrever as vivências acadêmicas extracurriculares da fisioterapia na área da saúde mental, tendo em vista atividades dinâmicas para trabalhar com os usuários do Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS) do município de Ijuí/RS.Métodos: Através do Projeto de Extensão “Fisioterapia em Saúde Mental” um grupo de voluntários acadêmicos da
fisioterapia elaboram e introduzem atividades dinâmicas para socialização com os usuários participantes nos CAPS I, vinculados ao Hospital Bom Pastor do município de Ijuí/RS.
Resultados: Foram 15 encontros entre os acadêmicos da fisioterapia e 22 usuários participantes dos grupos do CAPS, sendo 13 vinculados ao tratamento hospitalar, no qual 53,8% eram dependentes químicos e 46,1% apresentavam problemas mentais e 9 vinculados a tratamento ambulatorial, sendo estes predominantemente depressivos. Conclusões: Percebemos que os jovens são público alvo da dependência química e mulheres de meia idade em relação à depressão, ressaltando a importância de trabalhos realizados nos grupos de socialização.
