Abstract

Esta pesquisa avalia o grau de satisfação dos idosos na
participação em grupos de convivência de Santa Cruz do Sul-RS.
A população foi composta por homens e mulheres maiores de 60
anos que frequentavam grupos de convivência para terceira idade.
O estudo quanti/qualitativo utilizou-se de entrevista estruturada,
gravada e transcrita para posterior análise. Dos 486 idosos
entrevistados acerca da sua compreensão sobre satisfação com
a experiência e vivência em grupo, 92,86% apontaram uma visão
positiva no convívio em grupos. A pesquisa reflete que a convivência e os trabalhos em grupos melhoram a sensação de bemestar em relação à saúde e fortalecem a rede de relações sociais, sendo fatores que compõem a melhora na qualidade de vida do idoso.
