Abstract

Resumo: Muitos pacientesoncológicos procuram tratamentos alternativos e complementares, como as plantamedicinais e fitoterápicos. Sendo necessários estudos que avaliem o uso destasterapias pela população em busca de um uso racional, principalmente associadoao uso de antineoplásicos. Portanto, esse trabalho visa avaliar o uso deplantas medicinal e fitoterápico em pacientes com câncer, atendidos no centrode alta complexidade em oncologia (CACON) do RS. Este estudo seguirá um modelode estudo transversal, e será realizada por meio de aplicação de questionárioestruturado quali-quantitativo em usuários deste local. Osdados serão coletados no período de junho a dezembro de 2013. Sendo incluídostodos os usuários com atendimento no local, sendo de ambos os sexos, maiores de 18 anos. Este estudo foi aprovadopelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da Unijuí.
