PERFIL SOCIOECONÔMICO E CARACTERÍSTICAS DA DEPRESSÃO DE USUÁRIOS DO CENTRO DE ATENÇÃO PSICOSSOCIAL (CAPS) DE PANAMBI/RS

Abstract

Contexto: Dentre os transtornos mentais que merecem atenção no âmbito da saúde pública, destaca-se a depressão. Objetivos: Verificar o perfil socioeconômico e características da depressão em usuários com este diagnóstico atendidos no CAPS de Panambi/RS. Métodos: Foi realizado um estudo transversal no CAPS do município de Panambi/RS. Fizeram parte da amostra usuários com diagnóstico de transtorno depressivo, segundo os critérios da CID 10. Os dados foram obtidos mediante acesso aos prontuários dos pacientes e coletados nos meses de julho e agosto de 2010. Resultados: A amostra foi de 113 usuários, com predomínio de mulheres (70,8%), casadas (59,3%), de baixa renda (37,17%), dos 51-60 anos, sem vínculo empregatício (57,52%) e com baixo nível de escolaridade. Os traumas sofridos mais verificados
foram: a dificuldade de aceitar a morte de ente querido
(19,66%), problemas relacionados com drogas ou álcool (15,25%) e problemas conjugais (14,24%). Entre os sintomas que mais foram verificados foram: humor deprimido, choro e angústia, com 22,97%. Conclusões: O perfil socioeconômico encontrado nestes pacientes condiz com a literatura.
