ANÁLISE DAS INFORMAÇÕES DE BULAS DE ANALGÉSICOS, ANTITÉRMICOS E ANTIEMÉTICOS SOBRE RISCO AO FETO

Abstract

O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a clareza do conteúdo das bulas de medicamentos com ações analgésica, antitérmica e antiemética disponíveis no mercado. Foram analisados 21 medicamentos: sete de referência, seis genéricos e oito similares. As informações analisadas referem-se as orientações sobre o uso desses medicamentos em gestantes, tendo como parâmetro a classificação de risco estabelecida pela Food and Drugs Administration (FDA). De acordo com a classe farmacológica a maioria (75%) das bulas de analgésicos teve conteúdo Não Relacionado (NR) com a categoria de risco. Entre os antitérmicos, 66,67% foram considerados Parcialmente Relacionados (PR), os antieméticos apresentaram a mesma proporção de Totalmente Relacionada (TR) e NR (50%). De acordo com o tipo de medicamento pode-se constatar que os de referência foram os que apresentaram maior correlação entre a bula e a classificação do FDA (57,14%), e os similares foram os que apresentaram maiores discrepâncias (50%). A análise das informações das bulas de medicamentos de venda livre, utilizados por gestantes, analisados no presente estudo,
mostra que o conteúdo é insuficiente para garantir o seu uso de forma segura. Esta situação requer maior envolvimento
dos profissionais da saúde e dos fabricantes dos produtos.
