ADOLESCENTES GESTANTES NO BRASIL: Uma Avaliação Sobre o Acesso a Programas de Saúde

Abstract

A gravidez na adolescência, além de representar uma “crise” moral, social e econômica, insere-se no sistema de saúde brasileiro, que apresenta um modelo hegemônico de  fragmentações. Este artigo é uma revisão bibliográfica realizada com uma base de dados consistente e tem como objetivo analisar ações em saúde para adolescentes, avaliar o acesso aos serviços de saúde e programas de saúde para essa faixa etária. Também serão relatados os fatores que contribuem para a gravidez na adolescência. Além disso, serão discutidas as barreiras de acesso aos serviços de saúde para os jovens e a sua utilização por parte dos jovens. Enfatiza-se, por último, a necessidade de mudanças no que se refere à integralidade dos programas de saúde para os adolescentes.
