Abstract

A fundamentação deste roteiro está voltada para a análise das causas e tipos de lesões mais freqüentes no futebol através de um levantamento de dados com jogadores de uma equipe de futebol.Com o passar dos anos observou-se que o futebol sofreu muitas mudanças. Houve um aumento das exigências físicas, onde os atletas trabalham no pico máximo de sua capacidade. Em conseqüência disso, percebe-se que o índice de lesões no futebol têm aumentado significativamente, tornando relevante a prevenção das mesmas. Por isso, é fundamental, em uma preparação física, a atuação interdisciplinar de profissionais, fazendo com que condicione o jogador para que ele tenha a capacidade de praticar o esporte sem que ocorram danos em sua saúde.
