ENERGIA ELÉTRICA E MEIO AMBIENTE: UM NOVO PARADIGMA

A expansão do setor elétrico é fundamental para o desenvolvimento econômico e social e de melhoria da qualidade de vida da sociedade, ao mesmo tempo em que a situação do meio ambiente ocupa lugar de destaque em todo o mundo. Desta forma, considerando que a mesma sociedade que demanda a expansão do setor elétrico é a que questiona os impactos ambientais decorrentes desse, procura-se entender de que forma o Estado pode compatibilizar esses interesses. Neste sentido, no decorrer deste trabalho pretende-se analisar a história do setor elétrico brasileiro, bem, como o modelo proposto pelo poder concedente e, a partir disso, verificar a importância da energia elétrica para o desenvolvimento da sociedade e de que forma é possível compatibilizar o desenvolvimento econômico e social com a proteção ambiental proposta pelo texto constitucional. Assim, através desta pesquisa se analisará esse binômio bem & mal, desenvolvimento & sustentabilidade, bem como, buscará analisar as soluções para a compatibilização desses interesses.
