Abstract

O presente artigo resulta de uma revisão sistemática da literatura que enfoca a temática da educação em Direitos Humanos na qual é essencial para a formação da cidadania. O trabalho analisa e caracteriza, num primeiro instante, a compreensão, propagação e prática de uma educação em direitos humanos que vêm exigindo, sobretudo das escolas, maior discussão e posicionamento a respeito dos temas abordados na formação docente, principalmente, em relação aos temas transversais, como os direitos humanos e sua interdisciplinaridade. Num segundo momento, problematizar a formação de professores e refletir sobre os caminhos da educação em Direitos Humanos e para a cidadania global. Os resultados mostram a ação docente como práxis, libertadora e emancipadora, além de geradora de criticidade, valorização e respeito aos direitos fundamentais.

Doutora em Educação. Mestre em Administração de Sistemas Educacionais. Pedagoga e bacharel em Direito. Professora no curso de Pedagogia da UFT e do Mestrado Profissional Interdisciplinar em Prestações Jurisdicional e Direitos Humanos (PPPJDH) - Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT) e Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Tocantins (TJ/TO) por meio da Escola Superior da Magistratura Tocantinense (Esmat).
