Este texto aborda aspectos da feminização das migrações, desde a análise de situações e suas inter-relações com o
trabalho doméstico e sua naturalização, com ênfase nas mulheres latino-americanas migrantes. Elucidam-se quais
são os contextos históricos, sociais e políticos nos quais estão inseridas as mulheres quando em situação de migrante.
Enfatiza-se a história de resistência por parte das mulheres ao patriarcado, na qual se destaca o momento
em que os direitos das mulheres foram reconhecidos como direitos humanos, fato ocorrido em 1993 na Conferência
Mundial das Nações Unidas sobre Direitos Humanos, em Viena. O método de abordagem é o dialético, a técnica
de pesquisa bibliográfica.
