MEDICAMENTOS DISPENSADOS PELO PROGRAMA “AQUI TEM FARMÁCIA POPULAR” EM UMA DROGARIA NO MUNICÍPIO DE PANAMBI-RS

Abstract

Por meio do programa: “Aqui tem Farmácia Popular” as farmácias da rede privada oferecem aos seus clientes alguns medicamentos subsidiados em até 90% pelo governo federal. O objetivo deste estudo foi quantificar os medicamentos dispensados por este programa numa drogaria do município de Panambi/RS. Para tanto, foi empregado um formulário como instrumento de coleta de dados, no qual foram registradas informações referentes ao usuário e aos medicamentos dispensados nos meses de agosto e setembro de 2009. Os medicamentos foram agrupados conforme os níveis 1 e 5 do Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical Classification System (ATC). Ocorreu prevalência do gênero feminino (81%-170). A maioria dos medicamentos dispensados (60%-214) atuam no sistema cardiovascular representados pelos anti-hipertensivos, 31% (113) no sistema genitourinário e hormônios sexuais, relativos aos anticoncepcionais, e 9% (33) no aparelho digestivo e metabolismo, que são os hipoglicemiantes. Percebeu-se o
desconhecimento da população em relação ao programa. Diante disso, destaca-se a necessidade de divulgá-lo a fim
de ampliar o acesso dos usuários aos medicamentos e o desenvolvimento da atenção farmacêutica.
