THE NEOLIBERAL CITY AND RACIAL DOMINATION IN THE 21ST CENTURY: AN INTERSECTIONAL PERSPECTIVE ON THE RETREAT OF SOCIAL RIGHTS

O presente trabalho possui como hipótese a noção de que o avanço do neoliberalismo aprofunda os processos
de dominação racial nas cidades brasileiras, historicamente construídas mediante processos de colonização, que
negam o reconhecimento dos direitos humanos mais básicos da população Negra e, consequentemente, a sua humanidade.
O objetivo do presente trabalho é demonstrar como o avanço do neoliberalismo aprofunda o processo
de racialização da pobreza urbana brasileira. Para alcançar o objetivo proposto foi realizada revisão bibliográfica.
Por fim, a pesquisa conclui que a cidade neoliberal aprofunda os processos de dominação racial no século 21.
